We are looking for software engineer to be part of Oracle Essbase development team in Be'er Sheva, Israel. Oracle Essbase is an OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) Server that provides an environment for deploying pre-packaged applications or developing custom analytic and enterprise performance management applications. You will join our Metadata team. You will be a part of Server side team and develop the most powerful Multidimensional Database. Your responsibility will include development of performance-oriented data structures and algorithms for operating with huge volumes of data. Development in Linux.

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, SW Engineering. Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience and demonstrable knowledge may be used to replace this requirement. • At least 2-3 years of experience in software development as a C/C++ developer, multithreaded programming, performance tuning. • Nice to have: Knowledge in Java or SQL. • Strong CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms, automatic unit testing. • Proven ability to enter quickly into existing large scale project.
